well…….My human has obviously NOT been keeping up with posting. Some silly excuse that she was frustrated with the “program” on her computer. Also something about the “interface” what ever that is. I tend to like her face. Whinny every time I see her. Cookies are REALLY not the motivation! Now that I talked her back into telling my barn stories lets see if she can stay shoulder in around the arena!……..looks like her last post was similar, no shoulder in on that arena lesson!

Well……been hanging out at the barn and not posting obviously. My human has had too many boulders and logs in her path to keep up my journey. Had a heart to heart talk with her and it looks like she will be back on track and not stumbling around.
The mini arena is looking real fine now. The water hazard has its own Eco system functioning. Fish, frogs, birds and the occasional four legged wild creature. I walk through the water and impress my human with not trying to walk out the side. She is not happy when I have a run out. I think it is funny though!
My daughter Snowdrop has become the jumping fool. Such a pleasure to see her in the arena working.
A sad thing I heard the other day. My barn mate that I called the Slobberer is not well. Makes me full of sorrow. She has been having chokeing every day. She has a very special diet but it seems to not be solving the problem. Sad.
The Sea Pony has been back. This time I SAW the ocean creatures on her hull. Sponges! Some kind of barnacle worm and much green stuff. Smelly! I tried to see if the Kraken left any marks but could not find any. She must have had safe travels.
Kings Highway Arthur has been visiting the wash rack by my stall. He is a real goofball. Very handsome but SO immature. I love watching his antics.

tonight i insisted my human take me on a night time walk.  i refused to eat and stared at her until she opened the barn door and out we went.  actually i also did this in the morning too.  she thought i might be not well.  she kept watching me from all points in the barn.  she thought she was being sneaky spying on me but really i was training her to give in to my every whim!  in the morning i got to roam the barn inside and out and found a lovely spot of green grass.  oh i am such a good trainer!  back to tonights adventure.  i walked beside the gator with the headlights on to the back of my land where the dairy goats and a very small squat pig live.  we were delivering pumpkins to the pig and hay to the goats.  they sure look different in the dark.  i had a bite of hay hanging out of my mouth and forgot to chew as i stood nose to nose with blossom.  just standing and staring nose to nose.  my human actually laughed at me.  how rude!  i gave her the look when she made me walk back to the gator.  but i forgave her quickly.  then we went to my jumping arena.  she lit up the hedge jump with the headlights and i took a few flights.  i was so pleased with my self.  i know i will sleep well tonight.  good dreams!

i must confess that my human was right about something.  she has insisted on taking me to the jumping arena and giving me the opportunity to be an agreeable mare.  you must know by now i am an independent ginger girl.  i like things my way.  well, my confession is i REALLY like to jump!  who would have thunk it!  neighhhh!  i am SO glad my human was persistent in offering me the chance to be agreeable.  when i jump i imagine i am reaching the blue sky above.  after each jump i toss my head and am very proud.  i look for the next jump anticipating flight.  what a good girl my human is to show me this pleasure.   

well…. so much to tell!  Roo is still my barn mate. he has had his splint changed twice and will be in the feline ritz for many more weeks. my human has been busy creating a jumping and obstacle course for me and my mini friends. i have been watching her from my stall spend her mornings and late afternoons building and decorating. i have spent some time in the arena inspecting her work. she is doing a good job of it! my daughter Snowdrop looks to be a promising proper jumper! not my bag though. i like my feet firmly planted on the ground! my human made me jump the other day. i showed her how much i really do not like flying through the air. refusal! refusal! walk through. occasional jump. ears pinned. i think she got the message. climbing on the box is great fun! the bridge to be built will be a pleasure. i heard her say there was to be a pond also. exciting! we had some rain a bit ago. we all loved it. now there are green bits popping up. the nights have become cold. i am sporting a fun saddle clip. just like the event horses wear. my blanket at night is cozy. the Elegant one across from me had a problem a few weeks ago. she had a serious choke. it was very frightening to watch. the vet had to come out and give her drugs and work on her. she has to have her hay in a hanging feeder to slow her munching down. now i have a hanging feeder also. my human said i was finishing my meals too quickly. i like tossing the bag back and forth. it makes some of the hay float to the floor. an easier chomp! tonight i went out for a night walk. toasty blanket on. we went into the arena and looked at all the jumps. i kept my feet on the ground. see, my human remembered! there are solar lights at some of the jumps and obstacles. it really was a great evening! i walked back briskly and proud for i did not spook at anything! even got to graze under the tree that is loosing its leaves. dessert! i will sleep good tonight.
